Jian Xiang graduated from the Singapore Management University in May 2015 and was subsequently called to the Singapore Bar in August 2016. Prior to joining Sim Mong Teck & Partners, Jian Xiang was largely involved in general litigation, including family law, personal injury claims, civil and commercial disputes, mental capacity cases, criminal defence work, as well as non-contentious matters such as probate applications.
Jian Xiang joined as an Associate in June 2022. Apart from Real Estate Transactions, Wills, Trusts, Probate and Mental Capacity cases, Jian Xiang assists Mr Sim Mong Teck to help high-net-worth clients achieve their immigration goals in Singapore via high-end-investment-led immigration schemes. He is also involved in the setting up of family offices via statutory tax incentive schemes under sections 13O and 13U of the Singapore Income Tax Act.
Jian Xiang is proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin and is able to advise and converse with clients via both languages.
